Severe water damage had worked its way through the walls and timber window frames of this home at The Entrance North. Large sheets of paint were hanging off the wall surfaces and lifting away from the frames — well past the point where another coat would have held.
We scraped every affected area back to sound material, removing all the loose and flaking paint, then carried out major plaster repairs: filling the damaged sections with new plaster and sanding each one back flush before any paint went near it.
The walls were finished in Dulux washable vinyl, so the surfaces can be wiped down without damaging the finish, and the window frames were brought back in Dulux semi-gloss. While we were on site we also replaced the flyscreen to one window and built a support frame for new roller blinds in two of the bedrooms.
The whole job ran to four days, and the owner was very happy with the outcome.
